In This Guide

InvestorFuse is now CarrotCRM. CarrotCRM is a low-cost, inbound-focused CRM for solo investors and small teams, with a free plan and paid plans up to 10 users. Left Main REI is a CRM and growth operating system for investment teams that run acquisitions, dispositions and transactions in one system.

If you are comparing Left Main vs. InvestorFuse, you are really choosing between a lean follow-up tool and a system that runs the whole deal. Both are good at what they are built for. Here is how to tell which one you need.

What happened to InvestorFuse?

Carrot acquired InvestorFuse in 2022, and the product is now called CarrotCRM. InvestorFuse’s site says existing users can keep logging in as usual and that new customers are directed to CarrotCRM (investorfuse.com, checked Oct 20, 2026). Carrot describes CarrotCRM as the CRM InvestorFuse built (CarrotCRM pricing, checked Oct 20, 2026).

So when you search for InvestorFuse alternatives today, the product you are actually comparing against is CarrotCRM. The rest of this guide uses that name.

Where CarrotCRM is the better fit

I’ll say it plainly: if you are a solo investor or a small team doing a couple of deals a month, mostly from inbound leads, CarrotCRM is a sensible choice.

  • Price. There is a free plan, and the paid plans top out at $349 a month for 10 users (CarrotCRM pricing).
  • No setup fee. Carrot says CarrotCRM has no setup fees, and paid plans include one-on-one onboarding.
  • Inbound focus. It is built around responding to and following up with inbound leads, and it pairs with Carrot’s websites.
  • Simple by design. Carrot says CarrotCRM is not an all-in-one and doesn’t do direct mail, list stacking, buyer matching/predictions, buyer portals, or driving for dollars (CarrotCRM features). If you don’t need those, that keeps things simple.

Where Left Main is the better fit

Left Main REI is a CRM and growth operating system for real estate investment teams that have outgrown their tools. Built natively on Salesforce by real estate operators, it is one system to find, run, and close every deal, so teams move faster, win more, and see exactly what’s working.

That matters once you have separate people for acquisitions and dispositions, more than one lead source, and a leadership team that needs real numbers.

  • The whole deal, not just follow-up. Lead management and speed to lead, acquisitions, dispositions, transaction management, and a branded buyer marketplace, the LMX Investor Portal, all in one system.
  • Outbound and inbound. Built-in calling, SMS, email and direct mail run inside the same Cadence Library follow-up, and the mobile CRM supports driving for dollars.
  • Find the revenue you’re missing. DealSignals monitors up to 100,000 property records a month for 12 stress indicators and flags the leads already in your database when a seller’s situation changes. Property Sales AI shows which of your leads sold, and to whom.
  • See your whole business clearly. Ready-made dashboards for every department (Leadership/L10, Marketing, Lead Management, Acquisitions, Dispositions and Transactions) with industry-standard reference ranges.
  • Built to grow with you. Salesforce Enterprise Edition licensing is included in every plan, and you can add users at $80 each a month with no limit.
  • Your AI, on your data. The Left Main connector for Claude, included in every plan, lets you ask plain-English questions about your leads, deals and dashboards (see Left Main + Claude).

Left Main vs. InvestorFuse: what does each one really cost?

CarrotCRM costs less. That’s not in question. Its paid plans run $69–$349 a month, with an AI Suite add-on of $99 a month if you want more AI usage (CarrotCRM pricing).

Left Main plans are annual contracts, billed monthly:

  • Starter: $500 a month for 5 users, plus a one-time $3,000 implementation fee.
  • Launch: $1,200 a month, implementation included, with Property Sales AI and your choice of DealSignals or DispoSignals.
  • Enterprise: $2,000 a month for 10 users, premium implementation included, with DealSignals, DispoSignals, Property Sales AI and the LMX Investor Portal.

The fair comparison isn’t CRM to CRM. It’s CarrotCRM plus the other tools you would still need (a dialer, direct mail, buyer management, transaction tracking, property and seller signal data, reporting) against one system that includes them. If you only need inbound follow-up, CarrotCRM wins on price. If you are paying for four or five tools to cover the rest of the deal, run the math on Left Main’s pricing.

Is Left Main hard to use?

This is the question I hear most from teams coming from simpler tools, so here is a straight answer. The hard part of Salesforce is building and maintaining it, and with Left Main that work is done. You get access right after purchase. Data migration and integration setup can take up to 30 days, but our team handles configuration, data import and training.

Customers who were worried about the same thing say it in their own words. Tyre Realty Group wrote in a Google review that they were concerned a Salesforce platform might be overwhelming for their team, and that after working with the Left Main team they “feel confident this was the right move.” Danny O’Bannon called the price “very fair” and wrote that the team invests “a ton in helping you learn the system.”

Left Main has a 4.9-star rating across 90 Google reviews (checked Oct 20, 2026).

Switching from InvestorFuse or CarrotCRM to Left Main

Onboarding runs in four phases: kickoff, discovery and alignment, build and review, and launch. Left Main imports your contacts, notes, call and SMS history, files and tasks from your current CRM or files, and you can run your old system in parallel until you go live with phones. Left Main vs. InvestorFuse: who should choose which

  • Choose CarrotCRM if you are a solo investor or a small team doing a couple of deals a month, your leads are mostly inbound, and price and simplicity matter most.
  • Choose CarrotCRM if you already use Carrot websites and want your CRM from the same company.
  • Choose Left Main if you run acquisitions and dispositions teams, market outbound as well as inbound, and need one system from first lead to closed deal.
  • Choose Left Main if your leadership team needs department-level dashboards, or you want seller signals and lost-deal data built in.
  • If you are still on InvestorFuse, use the move as a chance to choose for the business you will be in two years, not the one you have today. See our 2026 buyer’s guide for the wider market.

FAQ

Is InvestorFuse still available?

InvestorFuse is now CarrotCRM. Carrot acquired InvestorFuse in 2022. Existing InvestorFuse users can keep logging in, and new customers are directed to CarrotCRM.

How much does CarrotCRM cost compared with Left Main?

CarrotCRM has a free plan and paid plans of $69–$349 a month for 3 to 10 users, with no setup fee. Left Main starts at $500 a month for 5 users plus a one-time implementation fee, and includes Salesforce Enterprise Edition licensing in every plan.

Is Left Main worth the higher price?

It depends on how much of the deal you need to run. If you only need inbound follow-up, probably not. If you would otherwise pay for a CRM, a dialer, direct mail, buyer management, property data and reporting separately, Left Main replaces them with one system.

Do I need a Salesforce admin to use Left Main?

No. You don’t have to build or maintain the Salesforce setup yourself. Left Main’s team handles configuration, data import and training, and Launch and Enterprise include professional services hours (5 and 60). Teams that want deep customization can add their own admin later to do it in-house, or you can use the Left Main professional services team for any and all customizations you’d like.

Does CarrotCRM do direct mail or driving for dollars?

No. Carrot says CarrotCRM doesn’t do direct mail, list stacking or driving for dollars and focuses on inbound leads. Left Main includes direct mail in its follow-up cadences and a mobile CRM for driving for dollars.

Which is better for dispositions?

Left Main. It includes disposition and transaction management, DispoSignals for buyer demand and verified buyers, and the LMX Investor Portal, a branded buyer marketplace. CarrotCRM’s features page doesn’t list dispositions tools.

Does Left Main have AI like CarrotCRM?

Yes, aimed at different jobs. CarrotCRM’s AI focuses on lead handling: an AI lead manager, lead scoring and opportunity summaries. Left Main’s AI focuses on finding revenue: DealSignals flags motivated sellers, DispoSignals matches and predicts the best buyers for deals, Property Sales AI shows which leads sold and to whom, and the Claude connector answers questions about your data.

Can I move from InvestorFuse to Left Main without losing data?

Yes. Left Main imports contacts, notes, call and SMS history, files and tasks from your current CRM or files, and you can run your old system in parallel until you go live with phones.
